Communicating with Camp and Your Child

No Package Policy

Last updated on 12 Jan, 2026

Packages are not allowed at Sprout Lake. Your camper can still receive packages from you for their birthday through one of our programs: Birthday Shop/Happy Birthday Balloons. Please see information on the next page.

What constitutes a package? A package is anything larger than a standard-sized envelope or greeting card, and/or thicker than a card. Please do not sent money, stickers, jewelry, snacks, magazines, comics, etc. Anything that is not writing paper or a card will be removed and packed with your campers things on the last day of camp.

What if my child has forgotten something? If you need to send an essential item to camp (e.g., extra-clothing sunscreen, etc.), this package will be accepted, after emailing us and letting us know to expect the package. Please address the package: “C/O Camper Care” with your child’s name and bunk number. Our office staff will open these and distribute them to your child.
